For artists recording in Logic Pro

Your song, mixed and mastered tonight.

You recorded your vocals over the beat. Now make them sound like a record. Tell TineEQ what you want in plain words, and it tunes, mixes and masters the song for you. No engineer to book, no waiting on revisions, and nothing you can’t take back.

What you get

A song that sounds ready to put out.

Not a list of knobs. These are the things TineEQ is there to get right, the ones you’d otherwise pay an engineer for.

Vocals that sit in the beat.

Not buried under the drums, not floating on top. It hears where the beat covers your voice and makes room, so every word comes through.

Pitch that sounds right, not robotic.

Your vocal is tuned to the song’s key, and notes you already sang in tune are left alone. Want the hard autotune sound on the hook? Ask for it.

A mix that holds up anywhere.

It checks the whole song for what makes a mix fall apart on phone speakers, earbuds and car stereos: mud, harsh highs, a vocal lost in the beat. Then it fixes what it finds, and tells you what changed.

Loud and clean for streaming.

Mastered to −14 LUFS with a −1 dBTP ceiling, the usual level for streaming, with a ceiling that keeps it from clipping. Want it louder? Say so.

Ready tonight, not next week.

A whole song usually takes five to seven minutes. No sending files, no waiting for the engineer, no paying again for every change you want.

Still your sound.

Your recordings are never changed. Every move comes with a one-line reason, and one click takes all of it back.

How it works

Say it the way you’d say it to an engineer.

No mixing vocabulary needed. You describe what you hear and what you want, and TineEQ works out the rest from the whole session.

  1. Record in Logic

Record your vocals over the beat the way you already do. Put TineEQ on one track and ask it to go on the rest. Track names like “Audio 1” are fine; it listens to work out what each one is.

  2. Ask for what you want

the vocal is buried, bring it forward

hard autotune on the hook, natural on the verses

    master it for streaming

Or have it do the whole song in one go, from placing the hook to the master.

  3. Listen, keep or undo

Hold Compare to hear the song without the last change. Open Details to see what moved and why. Keep it, ask for something different, or undo the whole job in one step.

You stay in charge

Nothing happens to your song that you can’t see or undo.

TineEQ works inside your Logic session, on your tracks, in front of you.

It tells you what it did

Each change comes with a short reason, like “cut 300 Hz: mud under the beat”. It only reports a change after checking it happened, and says plainly when something didn’t go through.

Your takes are safe

Your original recordings are muted at most, never changed. Undo puts every setting, track and fader back where it was.

It learns what you like

Ask for drier vocals or a louder master a few times and it remembers, across songs. You can see that list and delete anything on it.

Your audio stays on your Mac

Nothing is uploaded. The AI only receives text: measurements like levels, tempo and key, plus what you type. An internet connection is needed for requests.

Is it for you

Made for artists who mix their own songs.

If you record vocals over beats in Logic Pro or GarageBand and can’t afford an engineer, or don’t know how to mix yet, this is who TineEQ is for. It knows rap, trap, drill, afrobeats, amapiano and more, and you can point it at a record you love.

What you need

  • Logic Pro or GarageBand on a Mac with Apple Silicon or Intel, macOS 14 or later.
  • Logic set to English, for placing hooks and adding tracks.
  • A song at one constant tempo.

Worth knowing

  • TineEQ is new. It has been tested in Logic on real songs, not yet on a wide range of recordings.
  • Tuning on very low voices can come out grainier.
  • Songs with tempo changes aren’t supported yet.
  • A vocal recorded on its own track gives better results than one already mixed into the beat.

Under the hood

One plug-in on every track.

For the curious. The manual has the full detail.

  • TineEQ is an Audio Unit with three modes: Vocal for vocals (live tuning, EQ, de-essing, compression, reverb and delay), Track for the beat, and Master for the Stereo Out.
  • Tuning runs live on the track, so there is nothing to bounce.
  • A small helper app runs in the background. It moves Logic’s own faders and pan, and adds tracks when it arranges your hook and adlibs.
  • The prompt box, the Sound Engineer, is in every TineEQ window.

Questions

Before you download.

Short answers to what people ask most. The manual has the rest.

Does TineEQ work with GarageBand?
Yes. TineEQ works in GarageBand as well as Logic Pro, with the same Vocal, Track and Master modes, tuning and mastering. In GarageBand it tunes, mixes and masters through TineEQ’s own controls and tells you the few steps it can’t do for you, like GarageBand’s own volume and pan. Arranging hooks and adlibs and moving faders for you need Logic Pro.
Does TineEQ upload my audio?
No. Your audio stays on your Mac. The AI only receives text: measurements like levels, tempo, key and section layout, plus what you type. You need an internet connection for requests.
Can I undo what it does?
Yes. Everything TineEQ does in one job undoes in one step: settings, faders, new tracks and arrangements all go back. Your original recordings are muted at most, never changed. Hold Compare to hear the song without the last change before you decide.
How much does TineEQ cost? Is there a free trial?
TineEQ Pro is US$14.99 a month or US$149 a year, with everything included. There’s no free trial and no free plan. Cancel any time, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. It isn’t available in the European Union or the United Kingdom yet.
Which genres does it know?
Rap, trap, drill, afrobeats, amapiano and more. It can compare your mix with commercial references in hip-hop, afro house, amapiano and kuduro, or with a record you choose.
Does it run on Intel Macs or only Apple Silicon?
Both. You need a Mac with Apple Silicon or Intel running macOS 14 or later, and Logic Pro or GarageBand. In Logic, placing hooks and adding tracks need Logic set to English.
How long does it take to mix a song?
A whole song usually takes five to seven minutes. No sending files and no waiting on revisions.
How is it different from an online mastering service?
A mastering service works on one finished stereo file. TineEQ works inside your session, on each track: it tunes the vocal, balances it with the beat, then masters the result. Nothing is uploaded, every change comes with a reason, and you can ask for revisions in plain words.
How is it different from plug-in presets?
A preset is the same settings on every song. TineEQ listens to your song first, its key, tempo, sections and which tracks are vocals, and sets each track from that. Style requests like “amapiano mix” start from a fixed set of moves, adapted to your song.
What doesn’t it do yet?
Songs with tempo changes aren’t supported yet. Tuning on very low voices can come out grainier. Note-by-note editing is built and being tested, but not available yet.
